Small Pikler & Shape Sorter, Natural

Introduce Pikler Triangles from 6 months of age OR when you baby can sit up confidently.

This small pikler is for long term use as children move to start developing hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills between the ages of 15 to 18 months. Playing with shape sorters can facilitate motor skill development and problem solving skills. Toddlers can manipulate the shapes to fit correctly in the holes and once it’s filled, they can remove them and start all over again. This technique teaches your kids to recognise patterns, shapes, as well as colours over time with repetitive practice.

Montessori is an approach to learning which focuses on children developing independently in their own time. Within the Montessori Method, children are given the materials to explore their world and develop cognitive and motor skills as they go. The Small Pikler & Shape Sorter provides children with the tools they need to practice physical challenges at their own pace and encourage curiosity and self-confidence.

Exactly what I have been looking for

Incredibly happy with my purchase for my now 7 month old. Love the fact that it comes fully assembled and I am therefore confident in its structural integrity. It is the perfect height for babies just starting to get around and can see in just a couple of weeks of owing it, my daughter has become much more steady on her feet. This is a piece that every play room needs.
